Who we are
Castelli Homes is the business name used on this website by 2262324 ONTARIO LIMITED, an Ontario corporation. In this policy, “we” and “us” refer to that corporation. We are responsible for personal information in our care under applicable Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Enquiries and contact details
When you email or call us, we receive the contact details and project information you choose to share. We use this information to respond, discuss your project, prepare a quotation and, if you hire us, manage the work and related records. Please only provide information needed for your enquiry.
Our website form asks for your name, email address, project type, town or city, and a project description. Your enquiry is sent to [email protected]. We do not maintain a separate website database of form submissions. Enquiries are retained in our business email account.
We use security checks and temporary counters to limit automated submissions. These checks use a changing, protected identifier derived from the connection address. We do not include the connection address in enquiry emails or store form contents in these counters.
Analytics and browser storage
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand page views, basic website activity and completed enquiries. Analytics can involve cookie identifiers, device and browser details, and approximate location. Google processes IP addresses to provide the service but states that GA4 does not log or store them.
We do not send names, email addresses, project descriptions or other form contents to Google Analytics. A completed enquiry is recorded only as an event, without the message itself. We do not use advertising features or remarketing. We obtain consent for optional analytics where required by applicable law. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings.
The website may save your light or dark theme choice in your browser. This preference is not used to track you. You can remove it through your browser’s site data settings.
Service providers and other websites
Our business email uses Google Workspace. Email, website hosting and delivery providers may process information on our behalf, including outside Canada, where local laws may allow access by public authorities. We limit disclosure to what is needed to operate our services, fulfil your request or meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
The Realty Team, Instagram and Ask AI links lead to separate services with their own privacy policies. Ask AI links include a prepared question and public business information, not your form entries. Information you provide after following those links is handled by the relevant service.
Retention, protection and your choices
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the enquiry, our work together and applicable recordkeeping or legal requirements, then delete it or make it anonymous. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information’s sensitivity. No email or internet service can be guaranteed completely secure.
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request access or corrections, or withdraw consent for future use, subject to legal or contractual limits. Withdrawal may affect our ability to respond or provide services. We may need to confirm your identity. We normally respond to access requests within 30 days and will explain any lawful extension or refusal.
An enquiry does not subscribe you to a mailing list. If we send promotional emails, we obtain consent where required and include an unsubscribe option in accordance with Canada’s anti-spam requirements.
